	1938/48 Mercedes-Benz 170V A true one-off with a fascinating history. This 1938 Roadster was delivered new to Batavia in the Dutch East Indies, now Java in Indonesia. Ten years later the owner returned it to the factory for an "update". Mainly cosmetic, change of front guards, windscreen, dash etc, all done by the Stuttgart guys and all well documented. It features in all good Mercedes marque books and was thought to be long lost. But it turned out to be with a caring collector in Malaysia, who sent it to us for a "Pebble" restoration. Good call.
