1934 Mercedes-Benz 380 Cabriolet A
This was the company’s first supercharged straight eight. The new chassis with independent suspension all around carried some of the most beautiful bodies of that era. None better than the stunning Cabriolet A, only 16 were built. This one was discovered in Poland by a Belgian Bugatti collector, who bought it for his wife. In 1993 it came to Australia, and after an exhausting 8000 hours restoration, we took it to the podium at the 2005 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
